Originally developed as a souvenir for the Urasa Bishamonten Naked Grand Festival, known as one of the three most bizarre festivals in Japan, it’s now a tea cake beloved by the locals. The outside, made from ground top-grade white rice flour (joshinko) has a smooth and glutinous texture that is addictive! The mochi filling consists of red bean paste.
